Barbara Dana -Nora Joyce

Barbara Dana made her NY stage debut at the age of 17 in A CLEARING IN THE WOODS by Arthur Laurents. She has appeared often on stage, screen and TV. She is an award winning children's book and has written several books and screenplays. Her first play, WAR IN PARAMUS, premiered at Abingdon Theatre Co. and was directed by Austin Pendleton. She is currently playing Emily Dickinson in William Luce's THE BELLE OF AMHERST throughout the U.S. and Canada.

A veteran of over 250 professional productions, in classic parts such as Cassius, Othello, and Vershinin, the title roles in ROMEO AND JULIET, HALMET, and VOLPONE. Most recently: Robert in PROOF, Nixon in NIXON'S NIXON, Scrooge in A CHRISTMAS CAROL (The Portland Stage); Greg in SYLVIA (Pennsylvania Center Stage), John in OLEANNA (Denver Civic), Barrymore in I HATE HALMET (the Langworthy), Edwaard in SOMEONE WHO'LL WATCH OVER ME, Lloyd in NOISES OFF, The New Theatre; The Professor in THE LESSON, Primary Stages.
